NJ Boating Law

On January 9, 2006 then Governor Codey signed into law Bill A2604.  Better know as the New Jersey mandatory boating education law.  In plain English, this law states the following:

People born after Dec. 31, 1978 must take the course immediately.

People born after Dec. 31, 1968 must take the course before June 1, 2006

People born after Dec. 31, 1958 must take the course before June 1, 2007

People born after Dec. 31, 1948 must take the course before June 1, 2008

All others must take the course before June 1, 2009
