Welcome to Lackawanna Sail & Power Squadron's website
Serving Northern New Jersey and centered in the Morris County area, Lackawanna Sail & Power Squadron is unit of District 4 of the United States Power Squadrons® We are a non-profit fraternal organization dedicated to boating safety through education. We offer a wide variety of education including our one night seminars, America's Boating Course (providing the Boating Safety Certificate, required for operating a boat in New Jersey), numerous multi-week courses in the areas of seamanship, navigation, and related subjects, and on the water training and boat operator certifications. We also perform numerous community service projects including vessel safety checks and environmental cleanups. And of course, we have numerous social activities both on and off the water. This site provides information for our members, prospective members, and non-members in the boating community or those wanting to start boating or become better boaters. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site and look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions or would like to join or attend one of our classes, please drop us a line.
